--Yes! The AInanny Baby Monitor supports dual-band Wi-Fi, meaning it works perfectly with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. You can connect to either band for a fast and stable connection.
--When you monitor the video through the Arenti APP, both AInanny Baby Camera and APP need to be connected to the Internet. If the camera is disconnected from Wi-Fi, the alarm message will not be sent to APP. If the camera is successfully connected to Wi-Fi, APP can receive notifications anywhere and anytime by connecting to mobile data or Wi-Fi. However, Wi-Fi is not necessary to be connected if you only see the playback by the monitor.
--The AInanny baby camera doesn't have a built-in battery. The camera isn't rechargeable and needs to be plugged into an outlet to work. However, the monitor has a battery that can be charged. If there's no outlet where you want to set up the camera, you can use an extension cord of the right length! (Make sure the network is stable in that spot) Power supply: DC 5V1A Type-C
--Check the settings of your phone and whether you have turned on notification permission for Arenti APP. Ensure that the movement/noise detection function has been turned on: Open the APP - Device (click the device to the real-time video page) - Setting - Alarm Setting Page Checking, and check whether the alarm notification function is turned on: Open the APP - Device (click the device to the real-time page) - Setting Page Checking. If your phone is Android, it will stop receiving notifications once you close the APP. Please confirm that the APP is running, or ensure that the resident message service is enabled (Arenti APP -- Me -- Setting). The APP will run in the background automatically to facilitate the reception of visitor calls and alarm messages.
--The warranty period is 2 year. Please contact our customer service team by support@arenti.com to solve the problem if there is any questions about the product. Once it is confirmed that there is an issue with the device, we will replace a new one for totally free:)
--Yes, the app needs to be connected to the internet to view playback. Therefore, when viewing playback through the app, please ensure that the mobile app is connected to the internet, either via WiFi or mobile data.

ARENTI BrandAlthough this is a baby monitor, I ordered for when my 93 year old mom is staying with us. Her voice is not very loud so if she fell or had a problem at night, it would be hard to hear her.This monitor gives me peace of mind. It has a 5 inch screen and 2-way audio/speaker and the speaker is voice activated. AI-Powered Motion Detection and it works with works with Alexa & Google Assistant. Features infrared night vision so I can actually see Mom. And it has a night light. Mom likes that feature b/c she always carries a night light when traveling.I recently used the system during a family Christmas vacation. We were staying in the guest house and Mom was in the main house, sleeping alone for a couple days before the rest of the family joined us. So, I set up the monitor so I would have "eyes and ears" to make sure Mom was ok at night. She liked it too.Easy, out of the box set up. Portable for traveling. And multi-use, not just for babies. I also like the temperature feature. That way I can turn heat/AC up or down before Mom rolls out of bed.
