FAQs

Absolutely! The Arenti P2F indoor camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi dual-band frequencies.

To ensure the best experience, we recommend choosing the frequency that fits your camera's placement:

  • 2.4GHz Wi-Fi: Best if the camera is placed far from the router or separated by walls, as it offers better range and wall penetration.
  • 5GHz Wi-Fi: Best if the camera is in the same room or close to the router, as it delivers faster speeds and less interference.

Absolutely. Your privacy and security are our top priorities, so you can use it with complete peace of mind.

The Arenti P2F indoor camera is protected by multiple layers of security. In addition to your router's network password and encryption, it utilizes industry-standard 128-bit AES encryption and SSL/TLS protocols to secure your Arenti account and data transmission.

For security reasons, an account can only be logged in on one mobile device at a time. If others want to view the camera, you can easily grant them access using our sharing feature.

To share your device, go to: Arenti App > Device (click to enter the live feed) > Settings > Device Sharing > Add, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: The person you are sharing with must register their own Arenti account and ensure they select the same country/region during registration.

The P2F indoor camera does not have a built-in battery and is not rechargeable; it must be plugged into a power outlet to function. However, if your model includes a monitor, that monitor does feature a rechargeable battery.

If there is no outlet near your desired placement, you can use a suitable USB extension cable. Just be sure to check that the Wi-Fi signal remains stable in that specific spot.

  • Power Supply: DC 5V/1A

No, you have options! The Arenti P2F indoor camera can either be placed directly on a flat surface (like a table or shelf) near the area you want to monitor, or it can be mounted on the wall.

Note: If you choose to mount the camera on the wall, please ensure the screws are fully tightened and secure before use to prevent the device from falling.

To locate the card slot, gently slide or tilt the camera lens upward. You can then insert your Micro SD card directly into the exposed slot.

Note: For the best performance, we recommend using a high-quality Micro SD card from a well-known brand, with a Class 10 or higher speed rating, formatted to FAT32, and a maximum capacity of up to 256GB.

You can easily turn off the network indicator light through the app by following this path:
Live Feed > Settings > Basic Features > Turn off Network Indicator
