FAQs

We recommend using dry treats or kibble smaller than 15mm × 15mm × 10mm.

Please avoid using freeze-dried, crumbly, or heavily powdered foods, as they can easily cause a jam.

If treats are jammed or won't launch, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Empty the Chamber: Pour out all remaining treats from the snack hopper and chute.
  2. Clear the Mechanism: Keep the device plugged in, turn it upside down, and open the bottom access cover. Gently tap the side of the device to dislodge any stuck particles.
  3. Blow Away Debris: Use a hair dryer on cool air mode to blow into the opening for 30 seconds to clear out crumbs or powder.
  4. Test the Function: Open the app and trigger the treat-tossing function several times to check if the issue is resolved.

The Arenti Dog Camera does not have a built-in battery and is not rechargeable. It must remain plugged into a power outlet to operate.

💡 Tip: If there is no power outlet near your desired setup location, you can use a suitable extension cord. Just ensure that your Wi-Fi signal remains strong and stable in that area.

  • Power Specifications: DC 5V/2A
  • Max Power Consumption: 5W

Yes, absolutely! The Arenti Dog Camera is dual-band and supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi frequencies.

Since each band has its own advantages, we recommend choosing the one that offers the strongest signal in your setup area:

  • 2.4GHz Wi-Fi: Best if the camera is placed further away from your router or if there are walls and obstacles between them, as it provides better range and wall-penetration.
  • 5GHz Wi-Fi: Best if the camera is located near the router or in the same room. It delivers a faster, more stable connection with significantly less interference.

Of course! You can absolutely use the Arenti Dog Camera to toss your cat’s favorite treats. (Just be sure to check our Recommended Snacks guide for the perfect treat size!)

Cats are incredibly smart and usually adapt to the treat-tossing fun in no time. 🐾

⚠️ Please Note: Since our feline friends don't bark, the Barking Detection feature will not be triggered. However, you can rest assured that all other features—like live streaming, two-way audio, and motion tracking—are perfectly suited for keeping an eye on your cat!

Of course! To automatically capture and record your pet's highlights, please ensure a Micro SD card is inserted or you have subscribed to Cloud Storage, then follow these steps in the app:

  1. Enable Recording: Go to the App → Tap your device to enter the Live View page → SettingsRecording Management.
  2. Enable Alerts: Go to the App → Tap your device to enter the Live View page → SettingsAlarm Settings.

Yes, absolutely! You will receive instant notifications on your phone via the app whenever your dog barks.

⚠️ Note: To ensure this feature works properly, please make sure both App Notifications and Bark Detection are enabled in your settings.

We offer a 2-year warranty on our products.
